Maren had a good day on her birthday, and the rest of us did, too.
First request: Dinosaur Museum.
We had lunch at McDonald's with friends, and then came home to make a cake and decorate (and clean, lets be honest) for a party.
My mom made that apron for Maren's birthday and also gave her a cake mix which she was super excited to make.
We had friends and family over for sandwiches (Maren's request, of course), cake, ice cream, and the opening of presents. The kids ate lots of candy and were all sticky messes, which explains Maren's face in the following photos:
