Crazy

Short story: Our house is officially on the market. We are crazy.

Long story: We moved into this house four years ago and it was meant to be permanent. We bought big stuff (king size bed, freezer, piano, and recently, a playset). We poured our heart and soul into our yard and garden. We built a patio and put in sprinklers. Just a few weeks ago we were discussing whether to pour concrete or not. But then a thought crossed our minds...what if we were to move? We pushed the thought from our minds. Afterall, this home was permanent. We love our yard. We love the people here. We love being so close to things. But then the thought came back again... what if? So, we considered the possibility. It would not be an easy transition. First of all, we would have to sell in this over-saturated market. Then, we would have to move all of our belongings into a storage unit and move in with a set of parents. We love our parents, but that would be hard, and we all know it. We would have to look for a home that meets our needs (again) and find something that we really love. And then we'd have to move...again. This process is not fun. However, the prospect of maybe having a bigger house (at least one that is 100% finished) was exciting to us. So, we prayed about it. We fasted and prayed. We went to the temple and prayed. And, we felt really good about it. We knew it was the right thing to do for our family right now. So, we've been preparing the house and just yesterday our home went on the market. That was a difficult step. I really feel like the Lord is in charge now. We got the prompting, we acted on it, and now it is really in His hands, and He will take us where He wants us, if we stay in tune. Here we go! A new adventure awaits us!
