Our Graduate

It's been raining a whole lot around here lately, so a sight like this is one to celebrate:
 Sun, friends, and popsicles.

The boys had their Fathers and Sons campout.  Included was a little biology lesson as they watched a foal being born:

But before that, Everett graduated from preschool.  He was perhaps a little bored with the program?  Here he is playing with his tie:

And, still playing with his tie:

Look at these cute kids!  I think it may be just a little cruel to dress your 5 year old up like this, play the Graduation Walking March and then hand them "diplomas".  Seems too much like the real thing (only 13 years away!) and makes moms cry.  But, cute, very cute.

Checking out his diploma, making sure it's valid and all:

And then, being silly again:
His diploma is on his head if you didn't notice.  That little shelf up there must be good for something.

Our little graduate.  We are so proud.

Afterwards, we were waiting to take a photo with his awesome teachers (who adore him) and Lu just jumped right up there for her turn.  So funny.
 Next year, babe!

There's the guy of the hour:
It has been such a great year for Everett, thanks to these two!

And then, girlies, doing what girlies do:
