We had a lovely General Conference/Easter weekend, as was anticipated. On Saturday, we hung with some friends at a neighborhood egg hunt and then Nick pulled out the old boom box and played Conference nice and loud for all the neighbors to hear while we dug grass out of our flower beds, weeded and generally cleaned up our front yard.
Easter morning came with chocolate:
That is some awesome bedhead.
Dying eggs with a tamed-hair Daisy:
Our superhero:
To the rescue!
Beautiful blue eyes:
Girls, girls, girls! And yes, my house is messy. It pretty much looked like the Easter Bunny threw up in there. And in case you were wondering, yep, it still looks pretty much the same as it does here.
I love Conference. It was wonderful to listen to the words of the prophets and refocus my life on the things I should be doing, and of course, on my Savior. It was a perfect way to spend Easter.
We made a delicious ham dinner (ok, Nick made the delicious ham dinner) and we took it to Nick's parent's house where the kids were eagerly anticipating egg hunt #3:
I adore that toothless grin.
It was such a nice evening with family.
Stay tuned...coming up next, our Spring Break adventures!
