Happy 4th!

We had a fabulous Fourth of July. It started early with Nick and Alicia running the 5K. Nick made good time (he finished in just under 28 minutes). Ellie and I waited at the finish line.
That evening we enjoyed a barbecue with some of my family and then we watched the fireworks with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Nick's brother, Ryan, and his family. It was good times. Ellie loved watching the fireworks as long as she was snuggled in my lap - she didn't enjoy the sudden loud noises.
