The Perfect Angel

It snowed the other day. While the girls played outside, Everett washed my windows for me.
Also, I love it that my girls (especially Ellie) 'play' with the Fisher-Price Nativity by lining up all the figures. It looked like they were all in line to see the baby Jesus.
Saturday we were meant to go to my neice's wedding. We were almost there when we saw several cars that had slid off the freeway (and we still had a canyon to drive through) and we decided it was best to turn around and head home (it was better for my heart). We turned the day into a family day, and had a great time. We stopped at the Grand America, which has some pretty cool Christmas displays and activities, plus, it was fun just to walk around a fancy hotel and feel richer than we are. Bonus: we were all dressed up.
Maren, my poser.
Mr. E was not dressed up - he spent the entire day in his pjs. We had clothes for him, mind you, they just never got put on. That's just how we roll.
And this is what I really got on here to post about. Maren was an angel at church in the nursery's nativity yesterday...
He he... It reminded me of last year's nativity.

Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm so glad that Utah has snow! We are really excited to come down for Christmas. I like that Everett is still in his PJs in those pictures. Because William is often still in his PJs into the afternoon himself :).
