Yesterday our sweet baby boy was blessed in sacrament meeting. Nick gave a beautiful blessing, and we enjoyed the support of both of our families. I was touched as I watched the holders of the priesthood in our family surround Everett. I thought of how the priesthood (and thus, the church) will surround and protect him throughout his life and how it has surrounded and protected me thoughout mine. I am so grateful for my testimony, and so grateful that I have the blessing of the gospel as I raise my children.
Everett looked so handsome, all dressed in white. Grandma Brown made the beautiful blessing outfit. 
Afterwards, we had everyone over for a delicious turkey and ham dinner. It was such nice weather, which was a good thing, because we could send people outside. Thank you to all our family.
